Flag’s Whiskey Rodeo on building a fan base, heavy partying and getting wild on stage
The band has established a devoted local fan base, both for the music they play and the communal party atmosphere they create at every show, with an emphasis on audience interaction (and prodigious alcohol intake…)
For all the high-octane hijinks, though, this self-described “Americana trailer-trash band” takes particular pride in the fact that fans comment that the band members are exactly the same people onstage or off.

"Rock with a hint of bluegrass and lots of Skynard/Marshall Tucker-esque country twang, the Rodeo is the type of band that is no doubt having a good time doing what they do (and they’ve been sounding pretty darn good lately if you ask me).
This weekend they’ll open for the hugely influential country duo the Bellamy Brothers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
According to Francescon, the Whiskey Rodeo’s infamous Shot Box –used to raffle off free liquor shots to the audience- will be present during the show. Cheers gentlemen!"
